July 28 – August 1 — Bird and Insect Studies — Ages 9–12

July 7 – July 11 — Wildlife Rescue and Medical Care Skills — Ages 12–15

Times: 9am until 4pm

Clothing: Dress for the weather!
Cost: $155 per participant per camp*
Deadline for registration: June 10, or until filled

Each camp includes tours of our facilities: the admittance rooms, clinic, hospital, and rehabilitation cages. Campers explore and hike the natural landscapes that surround the facilities (in limited areas so as not to disturb recovering wildlife), and participate in a habitat restoration project. Each day includes interactive hands-on activities led by trained and licensed CWRC volunteer rehabilitator’s, CWRC education staff, and local veterinarians and technicians. Our curriculum is designed to promote fun educational experiences for youths with and about wildlife.

We are very excited about the opportunity to offer these camps and provide learning experiences for the young people in and around Benton County. Our goal is to encourage participating youths in taking their first steps to become wildlife stewards and to understand more about animal’s needs and behavior, as well as how we as humans can peacefully co-exist with wildlife. This camp will advance participating youth’s knowledge of and respect for local native wildlife and their habitat.

The number of participants per camp is limited to 14. Registration deadline is June 1 for all camps. See below for your registration options. Upon receipt of registration form and payment we will send you an information packet that includes your confirmation and driving directions.

Please be on time with dropping off campers at 9 am each day and picking them up again at 5 pm each day.

*Scholarships may be available.
